We fell short of making it to the top 12 for the final day of the Bassmasters National High School tournament. The boys did catch five Bass that were under the slot limit. Just could not get a big one to bite today. Kentucky lake is a famous Lake but when you have no current or no wind in the summer this sucker's is tough as they can get. Great job to the teams that made it to the final 12 y'all deserve it good luck. Just a tidbit of information when I say tough there were only a few boats out of 337 that even caught a limit of Bass in two days of competition. The 12 spot only took 11.5 pounds of fish a day that' crazy to me for how famous this lake is and how good it can be. It was a grind even for all the local teams.
Give a shout out to these Oklahoma teams competing in the National High School Championship on Kentucky Lake. Give support for Crowder and Kiowa schools. Fishing has been tough on this Lake. But never rule out Oklahoma Pride, day two might bring big sacks. Crowder High had two fish for 4.7 pounds. After day one weigh-in. Trust me this thing is wide open. To make the final 12 spots for the third day of competition.
