About
Michael
I grew up hunting and fly fishing in Connecticut. As a youth, I spent lots of time in the woods with my grandfather H.L. Winnie an avid outdoorsman and Connecticut State Park constable. I followed my love of the outdoors and fishing; in 1995 I packed my bags for Alaska where I guided my rookie season in Katmai Nat’l Park. The following spring, opportunity and Montana found me. Since then, I have guided here in Southwestern Montana, putting down roots and establishing FishTales Outfitting. I live, fish and guide year round. I’m intimate with these waters and relish the opportunity get on the water with you.
