The Haphazard hails from Pirate's Cove Yacht Club in Manteo, NC. Pirate's Cove is a short 20 minute run from Oregon Inlet, offering access to the East Coast's most renowned fishing grounds. Tuna, dolphin and wahoo can be caught spring, summer and fall. The peak billfish season typically occurs June through September. Grand slams, multiple blue marlin days and double digit white marlin days occur most years on the Haphazard. The fall brings phenomenal fishing with limits of tuna, dolphin or king mackerel occurring frequently during peak runs.
