The muskies are mostly in the 30”-40” range with a few larger ones present. Walleye up to 32” have been caught by our guests, most are in the 16”-22” range. The Crappie have been on the small size, but are abundant; the same holds true for the bluegill and perch. All the panfish are cooperative for the kids, they will catch plenty! Please enquire at the Lodge if you are interested in a guide.
Ghost Lake Lodge is one of the oldest historic resorts still in operation in the Hayward Lakes area of Wisconsin. Built on the south shore of Ghost Lake in 1935, GLL has developed a fine reputation over the last 70 years. Our log cabins are rustic with stone fireplaces. Cabins 0 thru 8 are located along the lake shore, Cabin 10 is set back about 150 feet, Lodge 11, 12, & 14 are located in the Lodge & provide more updated accommodations. There is a swimming pool and tennis court open from Memorial Day through Labor Day. We do not have phones in the cabins, nor do we have air conditioning. You can expect a clean, rustic, comfortable cabin befitting of this wilderness setting and the kind of vacation adventure that brought you here to the Northwoods.
