Fred Demshar is owner and hunting guide for Demshar Woods, 100 plus acres of private, unspoiled land on Lake Monroe. Come stay in the 4 bedroom hunting lodge with lots of extras. 5 deerstands strategically placed throughout the property. All game you bag will be retrieved, dressed and stored in the walk-in maintained at a cool 38 degrees. The woods is available for hunting parties of 3. All meals are included in the accommodation fee and will be customized to yer likin'. We eat big at the woods so bring your appetite. Breakfast home cooked on the griddle along with all the fixins' and hot coffee. Dinner prepared on the large outdoor smoker and served family style. Minimum 2 1/8 inch (SCI scale) ribeyes, giant racks of ribs or lamb chops slow cooked to perfection. Generous portions of fredo's potatos, kettle cooked ham 'n beans and endless smoked mac 'n cheese, just to name a few. There is an enormous deck out back to kick back and enjoy a cigar and three fingers of your favorite spirit.
