Grown upon the cow pastures of Texas fishing field ponds and lakes for largemouth bass and catfish until the age of 12, Tyler was born to fish. In 2000, his family moved to Central Florida where there's a few more fishing options. He started flats fishing the Mosquito Lagoon with a canoe and still does to this day. He graduated high school and immediately got his captains license. Owning and operating his guide service for 7 years now, his passion for the inshore side of Florida may never go away. He's also been known to win a few dollars in redfish tournaments. In 2014, he met a good friend Named Capt. Chris Cameron, owner of Fired Up Fishing Charters. Looking to expand his knowledge of fishing, Chris hired him the day he met Tyler. Still new to the offshore game, Tyler has earned a new reputation of the "Golden Horseshoe" because of the ridiculous things he's caught offshore. From a 500lb mako shark on his 2nd shark trip to the Blue marlin he caught on 25lb test. Tyler has set the standard for young, energetic, and hard working captains among the guiding community!
