Capt. John has a US Coast Guard 100 ton Masters License, and has been chartering since 1980. He was the President of the RI Party and Charter Boat Association for over 20+ years. He was a member of various Advisory Panels for the RI Marine Fisheries Council, and has been involved in research projects to help promote sustainability and cut down discards on fish stocks for the For Hire Industry. Capt. John has been chartering in RI waters, Block Island Sound and South of the Islands for offshore game fish for 35 years, He enjoys taking all types of anglers out for a salt water fishing experience, whether they are tournament anglers or families and novices going out fishing for their first time.
