MONTANA RIVER BOTTOM ARCHERY HUNTS. Welcome to Montana Whitetails, Inc. where we specialize in bow hunting trophy whitetail deer. Montana’s river bottom bow hunting offers some of the finest trophy whitetail deer hunting in the country. Our whitetail leases consist of a broad mix of habitat located in beautiful Southwestern Montana in the shadows of the Crazy Mountains. A very high concentration of mature bucks provide you with an excellent opportunity in taking a Pope & Young class trophy whitetail deer while hunting with us. Being bow hunters ourselves, we pride ourselves on the quality type of hunt we can provide to you. We have more than 10 miles of private river bottom restricted to “Archery Only” surrounded by irrigated alfalfa, wheat, barley, and oats. Our land has an excellent whitetail deer population with a buck-to-doe ratio that is very healthy, mature bucks being the rule, not the exception.

Truly a bow hunters paradise managed for trophy whitetails since 1998. Bow hunt big bucks in early September over alfalfa or max your adrenaline with rut crazed Montana river bottom whitetails in November. Very limited pressure ensures a quality experience in which hunters should expect to see between 25-75 bucks during their weeks hunt with us. Our whitetail deer hunting is done from strategically placed tree stands, taking full advantage of bedding and feeding areas, wind direction, and travel corridors. Our success ratio with bows average above 65% with 100% shot opportunities on bucks.

We provide you with a 7 day trip that includes 6 full days of hunting, meals, lodging, and transportation to camp (pickup/delivery) from Bozeman airport. Other opportunities include excellent Elk hunting, and very limited trophy whitetail rifle hunts outside our archery only areas with 100% success. Trophy Mule Deer rifle hunts with close to 100% success on bucks 145”-170”. Trophy Antelope rifle hunts with 100% success. Bow hunts also are available for both Mule Deer and Antelope.

Fortunately our lodge is located in the heart of where we hunt, making it possible for us to return you to the lodge each evening for a hot, well prepared, all you can eat, "country-style" dinner. Our lodge is a 3 bedroom, 2 bath modern ranch house. At the lodge, a hot shower, good food, lively conversation, and a good nights rest in a comfortable bed make for an enjoyable stay.
