Whitetail Strategies Guide Service: Guided Ice Fishing

Whitetail strategies guide Service offers guided ice fishing trips on the southern end of Lake Champlain and other Vermont inland waters. Fish that are caught include northern pike, walleye, large mouth bass, yellow perch, white & black crappie, channel catfish, brown trout, rainbow trout ,rainbow smelt, and lake trout. In between catching fish, enjoy the comfort of the wood stove inside the 10x16 ice house with seats and tables. Portable Clam jigging houses with heaters available as well. Safe ice usually starts around the 1st of the year and finishes at the end of March so book your trip as far in advance as possible, due to limited space. One on one fishing or up to groups of 4. I encourage kids and first timers to the sport of ice fishing. It's a lot of fun, and if you eat fish, it's one of the best times to put some fresh fish on the dinner table. Ice fishing packages includes holes drilled, tackle and tip ups, bait, use of the ice house, jigging rods, portable jigging house, vexilar fish finder, heater, and fishing guide. Email [email protected] for reservations or questions. Click the Vermont State Fish & Game symbol on the abbout page for rules and regulations, or to purchase a fishing license.
