This custom trip offers the best of everything! After arriving in Challis, the following day we will first schedule a guided/catered three-day pack trip into our base camp, right under Castle Peak. From here you will have the opportunity to take photos, enjoy scenery, view wildlife and do some fishing in one of the nearby alpine lake chains. After enjoying two nights in our comfortable camp, we will depart the high country for Challis and the Salmon River. Since we arrange for a full day in between trips, there will be plenty of time to enjoy a swim/soak at the historic Challis Hot Springs courtesy of White Cloud Outfitters. The next day, you will launch on the famous River of No Return for a two-day catered float with your experienced boatman/guide. All of your riverside camping gear will be provided except your sleeping bag. This is a great combination trip especially for those new to this area!
