“Hike and Fish” trips entail scenic hikes to some of Colorado’s finest, secret backcountry fishing hotspots. Along the way, clients will enjoy wildflowers in peak season and a full-spread lunch worthy of a king. It is important that clients be able to walk anywhere from three to six miles to be able to fully enjoy this one-of-a-kind experience. We primarily offer the Hike & Fish adventure on the Piney River in the Eagle’s Nest Wilderness. We have several different access points to the more remote sections of the river that are fished by less than 15 to 20 people in an entire year. We are limited by user days for this special trip and offer it only during the months of July and August every year. To ensure the best possible experience for all participants, we limit this trip to a maximum of four people.
