This evening at approximately 4:35, the station received a call over VHF-FM radio channel 16 from the vessel Fight-N-Lady reporting that they were having engine difficulties just outside the Oregon Inlet Bar and adrift. Due to their location, the station immediately launched the 47291 to assist. Before our 47’ arrived on scene the Fight-N-Lady was assisted by the vessel Fishing Frenzy who was in the area and able to put a line over to the disabled vessel and stabilize the situation. Once arriving on scene, the 47’ put the Fight-N-Lady into stern tow and brought her and all eight people on board back to the Oregon Inlet Fishing Center. Thank you to the Fishing Frenzy for their assistance this afternoon!
