These guys literally smiled and laughed all day long good company to be around. It was high pressure pattern today. Lake Fork Tackle was a key to our success. Thanks for booking a trip and fishing with D&K Guide Service. Looking forward to our next adventure guys.
Not an impressive mess of fish today. Terry, Bob, Larry and I still had a smile on our face each time we caught one. We caught enough for their family fish fry tonight. North wind was ridiculously strong reducing the amount of places we could fish. I was actually proud of the mess we caught with the conditions. #lakeforktackle #yamahasho
Ray Carter showing off his 2.3 pounder caught on Lake Fork Tackle. Had a cold front upon us today but with a few adjustments we stayed on the fish. The strong east wind was a fun challenge to overcome but we had fun. Lots of laughs on the boat deck today. Thanks for fishing with D&K Guide Service.
Due to a last min cancellation I took the day off and enjoyed finding some bass on Eufaula for an upcoming tournament next week. Hope they stay put because usually they never do.
My good buddy Doug Lay and Charles catching some good fish out of Lake Eufaula today. Always learn something new when Charles' is in the boat. The sport of fishing you will never know it all. It's good to keep an open mind in this business.
We had a blast pulling these fish out of Lake Eufaula today. All caught on Lake Fork jigs. Had 7 fish over 1.9lbs. That does not happen every day but it happened today. Two fish were right at 2.0lbs. The pattern was a run and gun style, fishing 8-12 feet deep, caught fish every place we fished. Just had to hit a lot of spots. #lakeforktackle #yamahasho
Steven and Jay holding up four of the 30 caught today. The wind tried it's best to beat us down but I guess we prevailed. And yes the dog was the reason we caught most the fish. #lakeforktackle #yamahasho
Thanks to Mark for sending Larry and company down from Kansas. The big ones are coming out of the deep apparently. This crappie weighing 2.31 pounds. Todays pattern was fishing near deep water. Finding the big ones 8-11 feet deep. Thanks to Lake Fork Tackle these jigs fool the big ones.
First bass outing of the year on Eufaula Lake today. Caught some good keepers. I saw sticks and stumps out of the water that I have not seen in a long time. Keep a close eye out for them my fellow anglers.
2.2 pound crappie caught on lake fork tackle today. Kept 34 fish caught around 45 fish. and the big ones were bitting today. Had 7 fish ranging from. 1.7 to 2.2 pounds. Caught them 9 to 12 feet deep. Colder conditions had them deeper today and they liked the jig with no movement. I love this sport when the little adjustments make your day. Lake Eufaula is something else this season so far, and it's only gonna get better.
Bryan and I caught a table full today out of Eufaula Lake. Just jigs and double dipping. #lakeforktackle putting fish in the boat.
Some Eufaula slabs coming out of some new structures I put out a few weeks ago. I love it when it pays off. #lakeforjigs getting it done.
Started the day with a dead battery had to go to town and get another cranking battery. Then fishing was slow until they finally woke up. You have to love those challenging days in this business. But it all worked out in the end. #lakeforktackle# Yamaha sho.
Thanks for Fishing with Dandkguide Bobby. Had a great time pulling fish out of the water with you today. Had 24 keepers and threw back around 10 short fish. #lakeforktackle#yamaha sho.#skeeterboats.
Fish are coming out of the deep water and staging up by the day. Keeping some fish for my self today. #lakeforktackle.#skeeterboats.#yamaha sho.
Out on Eufaula Lake today crappie Fishing is better than normal for this time of year. I love the taste of cold water crappie. It's always good to play in God's kitchen for food.
2.2 pound crappie out of Eufaula Lake today. Did not load the boat with high numbers but the quality was very good today.
Clients camera shy today but here is our catch from this unseasonably cool day this May. 46 was our count. Fished from 9am to 2:30 not bad. Crappie were tight to structure due to the front. Don't ever assume conditions control your day. Just adapt and overcome. #lakeforktackle #Yamaha
