Roy and Connie Wells has been fishing with me for many years. Its really cool how you can develop a good Bond through fishing. We had great fellowship and alot of catching up to do on th boat. Starting the trip at 9am and calling it just before 11:00am. They had enough for several dinners and were satisfied. Thanks for fishing with D&K. Roy is correct true success is not measured in numbers. Its measured in enjoying what your doing. And o ya not burning up in the heat.

He is a true Testament I've never give up he was in a walker all of last year he was able to throw that thing in the trash enjoy life. The best part of what I do is watching a kid get hooked on fishing. Crappie were caught on structure bigger fish were on shallow cover 3 to 6 feet numbers of fish where in 10 to 14 feet. John, Rob and Kyle fishing with D&K Guide Service on Lake Eufaula. These guys have never really even crappie fished but by the end of the day they sure got the hang of it quite well. Only fishing around 4 and a half hours. They were satisfied and ready to go in and clean fish Enjoyed the day gentleman.

We just had a blast out on the water I got them in the front of the boat on the live scope were the structure was then stepped back and let them have at it. Late summer bite is still very strong. It is hot outside but over the water was not that bad today.
Well dang we found some good fish in our practice days. Taylor caught a 8.52 pound bass. Then come tournament time. First day the boys caught 7 bass that were 14.50 to 14.75 inches. The length limit was 15 inches it was heart breaking. I'm sure that's happened to many anglers. Then come day 2 of the tournament Jayden caught one keeper to put us on the board but it went down hill from there. This was a very tough lake to fish. Many teams did not even catch a legal bass on Lake Kentucky with their Asian carp issue. All in all me and the boys felt blessed that they made it to Nationals two years in a row. Making some good memories along the way.... And looking forward to many more.

Emma has not fished that much but by the end of our trip she got the hang if it and was putting them in the box pretty quick. I really enjoy teaching fishing to kids. They listen really well and typically are very successful with no experience at all. Could have kept alot more fish than we did but we decided the live well was full enough.

Traveling through from Oregon they only wanted to keep about 30 for dinner tonight. Great day on the water. I love watching kids have their first fishing experience. It's a perk of my job for sure.

Fishing vertically over structure. If you felt any thing you just had to pick it up. These guys did a great job. Finese fishing at it's finest.
