I just got back from making bait and it was a successful excursion as I got 50+ in 1.5 hours. Now I am all set for my Saturday Catfish Combo Trip.
Attached are some additional photos from yesterday afternoon.
Yesterday was not easy but it was a decent day. In the AM we managed 15 Channel Cats with Steven and Noah but we had to move a lot more than normal to find an aggressive bite. In the PM Bass Trip I kept the clients a little longer since they drove all the way over from NJ. They mangaged 16 Bass which is not great but much better than we have been doing. We caught them on FITT Swim baits and river darters and we got towo n Zell Pops. We also had better quality. I got a new camera and had technical difficulties so I only have a few photos.

Taylor was here and got the recorder working. I still have some learning to do but I should be able to start posting videos again to our website in the next few days. Dave had to rub it in about the fish fry and he sent me this photo. These are some big White Perch fillets.
Dave and Terry were down to get some fish for a fish fry today and they caught some really nice White Perch. This is a good trip if you are looking to get some good eating fish for a fish fry. They had them up to 13.5". Tomorrow morning I have some young lads out for channel cats and they are bringing a cooler as well. I will follow that up wtih a PM Bass Trip. I have someone coming tonight to try and get me up and running with putting the videos on DVD's. I will keep you posted. I have the equipment, I just do not have the know how.
I just got the photos from Anthony's trip he did for us this weekend. It sounds like they had more fish on than we did but the end result was still below average as they only boated 8 Bass. The largest was 16". I am off until Friday but I may suggest they switch from Bass to Catfish. I will keep you posted.
Unfortunately we had another difficult guide trip again today as the guys only boated 9 Smallmouth. They got them on Zell Pops and FITT Premium River Darters. I tried many lures and locations and ran the boat where I probably should not have. I beat up the trolling motor, got hung up and with the south wind a made a bad read and sent The Servant air borne. This was the first time I have really abused the boat since I got it. It is much larger than the old boat but can go as shallow as it did and it gets on plane much quicker. Brad, Marlin and the crew are building tremensous boats. I have reached out to my commissioner at the PA Fish Commission and told him of my concerns with the river and the lack of effort on thier part to help clean up the river. I hope you will all reach out to your commissioner and government officials.
Tony had a better bite for larger fish today. They had 20 bass and had 5 between 17-18".

Dave's Satruday Morning Bass trip had a slow bite but they managed to boat 12. My Channel Cat Trip went better as they boated 19 and the largest was 22.25". Tony will be running our next trip on Tuesday and I will keep you posted. My video recorder is down so I went to best buy and bought a burner. I leaned this will not work for me. So I bouth another Panasonic DVD Recorder and I have spent serveral hours on the chat line and the phone trying to get this thing operational and I just do not get electronics. I will keep plugging away but there will be no new videos uploaded to the website until I get this figured out.
